ya.... he stole it.

Katlyn had to do a big project this year about something in Arizona that means a lot to her. She decided to do the Andrew Locy Rogers cabin. She and Mike worked and worked to make a cabin that looked just like the original. It really turned out perfect, and I totally spaced getting a picture of it. When they finished the cabin they decided that they needed the tree that used to be in front of the cabin. At Christmastime Andrew would sit in front of the cabin dressed like santa and give presents to all the kids. The tree is now in Mike's dad's house here in Snowflake. Very cool!
So, anyway we looked and looked on our little street but none of the trees would do so we took a little saw and went for a little drive. Finally, we found a tree that was not on main street and waited for the coast to be clear, Mike jumped out of the car and sawed away. It gave him a little too much pleasure I think! But....... it was the perfect tree!
